The inception of Azadari Foundation, in 2003, originated from years of distorted as well as targeted, and individualistic as well as grouped efforts of numerous individuals in north America, under the inspiration, guidance and tireless support of our most respected shia scholars, heads of religious organizations and elders of our shia community, for the common goal of pleasing the Imam (AS) of our times, through preservation, promotion and propagation of the very spirit of Azadari-e-Sayed-ush-Shaudah Imam Hussain (AS).

With Allah's blessings, loving, compassionate, understanding, forgiving and patient attitude of our most respected shia scholars, heads of religious organizations and elders of our shia community and selfless efforts and devotion of our volunteers and members, despite unforeseen and inevitable hurdles, barriers, mistakes, and negligence, natural and inherent to the formation and evolution of such organizations, we were able to resolve temporary misunderstandings, disputes and mutual differences, for the sake of our greater cause and emerged victorious as a single platform and the only shia network organization of its kind and stature in North America.

May Allah keep us all united and guided in this noble cause and continue the wave of positive change in our shia community, caused by the organization of three back to back Juloos-e-Ashoora peace rallies in 2005, 2006 and 2007 in Los Angeles, formation of youth scouts group, numerous publications, media propagation of all Juloos-e-Ashoora throughout North America, etc under the umbrella and banner of Azadari Foundation.
